Service Account Manager | Toowoomba, Queensland

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Service Account Manager to join the Regional Services team on a permanent full-time basis.

We are searching for a highly experienced Sales Professional capable of managing complex contracts and can work effectively with our international Customers from regions such as Europe, Middle East, Mongolia and Central Asia.

The successful candidate will be someone who can drive regional growth by securing and managing Long-Term Service Contracts and adapting to diverse Customer needs. The successful candidate will be someone who can drive regional growth by securing and managing Long-Term Service Contracts and adapting to diverse Customer needs.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for collaboratively developing RME’s opportunities and relationships with existing Customers. This will include:

• Working with the Customer and RME’s Customer Support team to ensure the delivery of consistent, world-class service and maintenance through quality asset management;
• Actively participating in Customer engagement efforts to ensure that RME is a Proactive Partner;
• Providing regular, rapid responses to Customer needs and completes designated calls and routes;
• Ensuring the of the Service business through accuracy in fiscal and administrative responsibilities;
• Providing leadership in Sales and Service processes, including the development and implementation of such processes;
• Actively work with Customers in order to improve their concentrator performance and to maximise on revenue potential;
• Forming relationships with potential Customers to determine the level of potential and, where appropriate, engage with the Customer; and
• A willingness to relocate to Toowoomba, QLD.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• At least 3 years’ aftersales support experience, preferably in a mining- or export-related field. Attractive specialisations include:  

• • Industry and/or Customer specific;
  • Technical and major service;
  • Logistic and shipping;
  • Service Contract; and
  • Service Agreements.

• A candidate who is results oriented and highly proactive, but also adaptable to dynamic and fast-paced environment
• A strong drive to see sales through to completion whilst maintaining strong business acumen  
• Ability to seek out and develop mutually beneficial relationships with Customers, as well as follow through with proposals or quotes
• Ability to quickly generate rapport and understand, interpret and respond clearly to others
• Well-developed negotiation and persuasion skills
• A desire to delight Customers, going ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to determine priorities, meet deadlines and take follow-up action until finalisation
• Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally

The ideal candidate may also possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce, Engineering, Marketing or other relevant discipline
• Technical knowledge of RME MILL RELINING systems
• Fluency in English is a distinct advantage 

LICENCES

• Possession of a current QLD ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence

Assembly Technician | Toowoomba, QUeensland

There is now an exciting opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join the Assembly team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Assembly Technician plays a key role in the efficient assembly of RME-manufactured equipment to a high standard of workmanship and safety. 

The Assembly Technician must have a genuine interest in assembling high-quality, high-performance, special machines. RME’s ‘special machines’ may be any combination of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems, including powerful robotic devices.

What are we looking for?

REQUIRED

• Certificate III in recognised field (e.g. motor mechanic, diesel fitter or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with minimal guidance.
• High level understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Basic IT skills including MS Office suite, D365 and Windchill.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
• Ability to approach situations with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
• Effective written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Promotes and is actively engaged with Continuous Improvement Opportunities.
• Is proactive towards safety, e.g. Hazard identification, Take 5’s.
• Displays and promotes RME’s values and behaviours.

DESIRABLE

• Certificate IV in Fluid Power 

LICENCES

• Current QLD ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence (desirable)
• Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Overhead Crane Licence, or the ability to obtain (required)
• Dogman Ticket (desirable)
