THUNDERBOLT Hydraulic Powered Mobile & Fixed Jibs

The THUNDERBOLT Hydraulic Mobile Jib is an excellent choice for THUNDERBOLT Recoilless Hydraulic Hammer suspension where adequate floor space is available and multiple mills are to be serviced by the same equipment. During liner bolt removal the mobile jib is controlled entirely from the hammer. With powered extend, retract, raise and lower functions and 360o slewing any bolt on the face of the mill within a window 1,800mm high by 8700mm wide can be reached. The jibs have a working load limit of 500kg which is more than enough to carry either the THUNDERBOLT 1500 Special Performance Recoilless Hammer or THUNDERBOLT 750 Special Performance Recoilless Hammer.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

: The THUNDERBOLT Hydraulic Mobile Jib can also be supplied with a powered setup option. This optional feature allows simple setup of the jib mast from the transport configuration to the operational configuration. Without this option a separate crane or lifting device is required to raise the upper section of the jib from the collapsed transport position into the extended operation position so that the mast can be manually pinned. This option requires an additional hose set to connect the powered setup cylinder to the Power Pack and an additional manifold on the Power Pack.
: The THUNDERBOLT Hydraulic Fixed Jib is an excellent choice for THUNDERBOLT Recoilless Hydraulic Hammer suspension where adequate floor space is not available or where it is difficult to move the hammer around obstructions on the mill such as drive guards. During liner bolt removal the hydraulic fixed jib is controlled entirely from the hammer. With powered extend, retract, raise and lower functions and 360o slewing any bolt on the face of the mill within a window 1,800mm (Low Model) or 3700mm (High Model) high by 8700mm wide can be reached. The jibs have a working load limit of 500kg which is more than enough to carry either the THUNDERBOLT 1500 or THUNDERBOLT 750 Recoilless Hydraulic Hammer.
