RME courses are recognised internationally and developed to Australian Qualification Framework requirements. This means our training is:

• Endorsed by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (VET regulator) and the course content is regularly audited and updated
• Developed in partnership with TAFE Queensland (RTO No. 0275) ensuring third party audited compliance
• Continuously improved with regular user feedback and industry consultation
• Available with ongoing support for previously trained personnel
• Meeting a need for skilled operators

To address variations in operator skills, we worked with TAFE Queensland (RTO No. 0275) to develop nationally accredited training courses for the operation of RUSSELL Mill Relining Machines (MRMs) and THUNDERBOLT Recoilless Hammers.

More than 900 people have already completed our RUSSELL MRM training, which combines theoretical and practical, hands-on training.

These courses have been delivered by RME certified trainers in 34 countries across the world. Our trainers are in-house employees with a dedicated training focus, who bring a mix of trade qualifications and industry experiences. They teach specific skills to ensure the performance potential of your equipment and protect it from misuse or damage.

We support all training participants to develop a sound understanding of the equipment’s safety functions and features, and run a specialised Training Centre at our Head Office in Toowoomba.
