RME receives Zijin Mining 2022 Annual Supplier Award

RUSSELL MINERAL EQUIPMENT (RME) is honoured to receive the 2022 Annual Supplier Award from the Zijin Mining Group Cp., Ltd. This accolade is in recognition for the provision of RME Mill Relining System technologies and services at the Serbia Zijin Copper d.o.o. Bor (Majdanpek) Mine where RME has supported both SAG and ball mill liner installations and subsequent relining maintenance operations.

Zijin Mining is a multinational involved in the development of copper, gold, zinc and lithium, as well as engineering and technology research. They are the largest producer of these minerals in China with projects in 15 provincial-level regions, as well assets in 13 countries across the globe

Zijin Mining also recognised RME Technical Service Manager, Mr Leo Yu, for his involvement in equipment commissioning and mill relining maintenance operations. Mr Mike Yue CHEN, Engineer with Serbia Zijin Copper d.o.o. Bor further commented: “In addition, we congratulate Mr Leo Yu on being awarded our Annual Distinguished Engineer Award. His expertise and skills have provided excellent service over the past four mill relining events in 2022.
